Huma attended the GQ event wearing a two-toned Anand Bhushan gown featuring a cutout. Sleek hair, smokey eyes, pink lip and multiple Dior rings finished out the actor’s look.

Though the shine of her gown when combined with camera flashes made the silhouette look unflattering in some pictures, it was clear that it was only a play of light. The actor wears the gown well and looked good in it! We like.

At the 1st anniversary celebrations of Femina Middle East, Huma was spotted wearing a turquoise Sonaakshi Raaj jacket with white denims and nude sandals.

We don’t have the best pics but from what see, she did cut quite a pretty picture.

For one of the events at the recently concluded IIFAs, Huma picked a Sonia Mehra jumpsuit. Letting the olive jumpsuit featuring a cutout back be the focus, the actor finished out her look with a dark lip, delicate necklace and snakeskin pumps.

Given those heels, the jumpsuit needed to be longer. Or should’ve just picked a pair of flats for it instead. That together with the fact that it was a little to blah for the event in question, made this look a miss. While with minor tweaks the look would’ve worked for me, Payal disliked the jumpsuit entirely for Huma, finding it much too unflattering for the actor.

Huma’s look in the red Gauri and Nainika reminded me a lot of her appearance at the Screen Awards where we had wished that the gown didn’t have the exaggerated waist peplum.

Looks like we got our wish and weren’t we right? She looked so much better in the simpler silhouette.

P.S. She is wearing Farah Khan Fine Jewellery.

For the IIFA Rocks event, Huma picked a color-blocked Shivan and Narresh sari. With her hair in a severe knot, the actor finished out her look with smokey eyes, a black clutch and gold earrings. With that choice of sari, she stood out right away from other attendees at the event; she looked good!

At the risk of sounding nit-picky though, I do wish the straps on her blouse were different. Either entirely strapless or a more robust strap/sleeve would’ve made world of a difference. This lil’ noodle strap though makes an otherwise well finished out look, for a lack of better word, look inexpensive. Didn’t take away from the fact that Ms. Qureshi looked good though.
