At the Filmfare Awards, Huma opted for a one-shouldered Mayyur Girotra gown featuring the designer’s signature floral embroidery. Hair in a ponytail, her look was finished out with a pink lip and a serpent cuff and ring, both Farah Khan Fine Jewellery.

I didn’t care for visible clips but the hairdo itself and the pink lip was quite unexpected. Overall, I found myself quite liking it.

Huma walked the Star Screen red carpet wearing a red Dolly J v-neck gown that featured floor-length slit sleeves. While I find the wet hairdo look interesting, my issue with this look is with the gown.

For starters, I just don’t like it. Between the v-neck and the thin ring the waist, the gown actually ended up making the torso look rather ill-flattering.

Not a fan. Not one bit.

P.S. Her look was finished out her jewellery from Gehna.

Huma picked a Deepankshi and Reena gown for her appearance at the Awards event last night. Side-swept hair, earrings from Farah Khan Ali and a novelty Judith Leiber minaudière finished out the look. Love the color on her! Not the biggest fans of the bodice; luckily the fish pulls one’s eyes away from it.

Wearing a semi-lined dress from Zara, Huma attended an ongoing film festival. With her hair partially pinned back, a cocktail ring, tassel belt and neutral sandals rounded off the look. It’s no secret that we aren’t big fans of partly lined sheer dresses… And yet, I find myself liking this look on Huma! To her credit, she made the dress work; Huma looked rather sweet in it!

At a recent event, Huma channeled ‘retro’ wearing a black top and skirt by Sapphire . With her hair in a bouffant ponytail, she finished out the look with a necklace and white pumps. While I get the look she was going for, its execution still felt lacking. Had she worn a fuller skirt or a short-sleeved bodysuit with the skirt she had on, both the proportions and the aesthetic she was aiming for would’ve been a whole lot more successful. Neck up, can’t fault her.
