Top Chef star Padma Lakshmi graces Elle’s May cover wearing an Hermès maillot with a printed Missoni cape. I can’t remember when was the last time we saw Ms. Lakshmi on the cover so this cover sure made for a nice surprise.

Before jetting off to Dubai for TOIFA, Karisma was photographed at the airport in Mumbai. She paired her denims with a pink and black striped top and black jacket. Wearing her hair down, she finished out the look with shades, pink lip color, a Birkin and neon pumps. The look sure was match-ey and yet, it didn’t seem overwhelmingly so. Karisma looked good!

Wearing a Fendi dress, Michelle hosted an art preview and a coffee-table book (on her grandfather, Jehangir Vazifdar) launch. An Hermès clutch and nude Louboutin pumps were her accessories of choice. The playful dress begged for less-serious accessories but given the occasion it worked; Michelle looked good.

Wearing Ferragamo, Sonam attended an event held in Delhi recently. An interesting top knot, Acne aviators, Stuart Weitzman boots and Hermès Kelly finished out the actor’s look.
As is the case with most of her appearances, but perhaps especially so with this one, the opinions are bound to be polarized. Go ahead and call me biased but I unequivocally loved it. To me it is very reminiscent of Japanese designers in late Eighties and the whole look, top knot and al reminds me of the likes of say Yohji Yamamoto (designer) and Nick Knight (photographer) from that period. She owned it!
