The Gucci Award for Women In Cinema was held over the weekend in Venice and in attendance was Roohi Jaikishan wearing the one shouldered Gucci gown seen also on Diana a few months ago.

With the embellished shoulder detail, it would’ve been nice to have seen Roohi wear the gown with her hair up. Would’ve showcased her earrings as well. This round for us goes to Diana. For you?

In a Gucci, Alia covers the September issue. Love the rich berry tones; she looked good on the cover! But wouldn’t it have been refreshing to see a young, edgy vibe given the rather young actress herself versus the more mature route that was taken?

Also, we mean this as no diss to Ms. Bhatt but, we are rather taken aback by Vogue’s decision to put her on its September Issue. Everybody in fashion (and with an interest in fashion) knows of the importance of September issues and the prestige its covers hold. And to then give this particular cover to a (movie) debutant with no body of previous work surprises us. It may have been a coup for Vogue to have her on its cover first, but wish it didn’t have to be Sept. Guess ‘SOTY’ (her upcoming movie) has a brilliant marketing team.

As long as we are on things that surprise us… How come Neha Dhupia hasn’t gotten any covers yet?

Wearing a Gucci dress, Sussanne unveiled the September issue of L’Officiel India during Delhi Couture Week.

The proportions of the whole look don’t seem to be doing much for her. Between the midi skirt and ankle-straps, it seemed too, for lack of a better word, choppy.

Same ol’, same ol’ hair completed her look.

We’ve got to give Ms. Sharma props for trying something new with the hair. Except, with the sequin outfit and the red lips, the hair didn’t quite work. The outfit itself wasn’t edgy enough to warrant that hair.
