It was a full-skirted Gauri and Nainika dress for Sayani for the recent Awards event. Wearing her hair up, she finished out the look with a dark lip, strappy sandals and rings from Anmol and Gehna. Waist-up, she can’t be faulted; Ms. Gupta looked striking. Given the volume on her dress though, its length let her down. The dress needed to be a couple of inches shorter!

Wearing a Gauri and Nainika dress, Lara taped another episode of Miss Diva today in Mumbai. Hair worn down in curls, her look was finished out with ankle-strap block sandals.

While she wore the dress well, my issue here was with the dress itself. Instead of being able to focus on the floral applique detail, my eyes went straight to the mesh bust and am not sure that was the best thing. The mesh top with the keyhole design and the stitch line through the chest was very distracting. Just me feeling that way about the dress?

The trailer launch of Pink saw Taapsee in a strapless Gauri and Nainika dress. We aren’t sure if wearing a dress with pink highlights was a conscious decision but hey, we’ll take this over wearing an all-pink one.

As princessy as the dress was, the fact that everything else was kept simple, made the look work.

Divya attended the Retail Jeweller Awards 2016 wearing a one-shouldered Gauri and Nainika with diamond tear-drop earrings from Jet Gems.

I wasn’t really a fan of the gown on the runway, especially those dots that just seem very unnecessary. Divya for her part though, wore it well.

P.S. If you’re gonna go dark on the nails, it’s a good idea to ensure the length is the same on both hands. 😛 Random point but now that I’ve seen it, I can’t unsee it. 😛

For her appearance at a local radio station in Mumbai, Diana picked Gauri and Nainika separates. Wearing her hair slicked back, the actor finished out the look with dramatic eye make-up, minimalist earrings and a pair of white sneakers. She did good!
