Bhumi wore a Gaurav Gupta ruffle sari featuring a gold embellished bikini style blouse. The finishing touches were really on point. I loved the ear cuff and neckpiece pick.

But, I think this look was more appropriate for a sangeet night. But, then have we seen anyone follow any kind of rule this weekend?

Aditi walked the red carpet at Cannes on Thursday wearing a strapless velvet gown from Gaurav Gupta paired with pearl earrings and a sleek updo. A clean classic elegant look. I have no complaints. She looked great!

The amfAR gala is underway at Cannes and Kelly was one of the firsts to arrive wearing a Gaurav Gupta top and skirt set from the designer’s 2023 Couture collection. A diamond necklace and earrings finished out her look. The top felt a wee bit too teeny on her but I am loving Ms. Rowland pick Indian designers to sport!

Sobhita attended the premiere of her movie in Los Angeles wearing a strapless pants gown from Gaurav Gupta‘s Couture collection paired with earrings from Hanut Singh. She wears the gown well but the make-up here was a bit underwhelming and made the look fall flat.

At the Bvlgari party hosted by the Ambanis, Priyanka switched into a pale pink custom stitched sari set from Gaurav Gupta and waist up, she looked hella hot! But, that skirt… it was lazy design at its peak and just terrible.

Just because one is the “Desi Girl” doesn’t mean every India appearance has to be in terribly designed antariya/uttariya inspired outfits. I really wish she’d just picked on of his other Couture designs to wear. He has so many good ones.
