It is definitely an improvement over the last time; do you approve of her red carpet appearance this time?

Puppet Fashion

For their second anniversary, Marie Claire invited several designers to dress up two-feet tall Rajasthani puppets in their signature style and here are some of them.

I can’t decide on a favorite, love the OTT nature of the Gaurav Gupta gown and the simple white of the Rohit Bal one. Do you have a favorite?

You can check out more of them here.

Lakshmi On Elle: (Un)Covered

The November issue of Elle has a very sultry Lakshmi Menon (Yep! It is a model! Finally!) wearing a Gaurav Gupta jacket.

Love the dark mood of this cover. A lot.

Ranbir and Deepika: Uncovered

The L’Officiel’s third edition of Undercover Brides has the love-birds Ranbir and Deepika on it. While, Ranbir was attired in Lanvin, Dior Homme, Moschino Uomo and a Rohit Bal vest, Deepika wore a gorgeous Gaurav Gupta gown.

Its amazing how fabulous the gown looks on the cover vs on the mannequin. Instant love is what I feel for the magazine version!

WLIFW: Gaurav Gupta

Gaurav Gupta’s collection had both menswear as well as evening and day for women and the colors stayed predominantly muted whether smokey greys and greens, indigo or matte golds and coppers.

The crepes, chiffons, silks and satin were draped and molded, the jackets were structured, there was a play on symmetry, rather asymmetry and the menswear was extremely structured and the play on deconstruction was evident.
