Two back-to-back events in Singapore had Ms. Dhupia gives us two very different looks to two very different results. While we loved the cobalt Gaurav Gupta sheath on Neha, the red Victoria Beckham didn’t do much for her… T’was easy to pick a favorite!

In an event that mostly saw gowns, it was so refreshing to see folks in a sari. Kiran was one of the few to don one (a Gaurav Gupta) and just looked lovely!

Lady Victoria Hervey, a socialite from UK was recently spotted wearing Indian designers, first an Alpana & Neeraj wooden structured dress and later at Cannes in a barely there Gaurav Gupta (a red carpet pic of which you can find here.)
While the dresses themselves were edgy, both looks as a whole felt so lacking. We blame the footwear and makeup on both occassions.

A recent event had Ms. Jagannathan dressed in Gaurav Gupta. Adding only a cuff to finish off the look while keeping all else simple worked in her favor. She looked great!

As we even begin to put these together, we realize there are just sooo many looks and designers to choose from, we are overwhelmed even before we’ve started. Luckily for us, we are suckers for some goold ‘ol Fun, and Fun this is. Do remember, we are just going to pick ’em as we remember/recall ’em. And we’ll only be picking looks from Indian designers and from collections that are most or more recent.

Ms. Chopra more often than not, sticks to neutrals. And when she does do color, it’s almost always deep, berry tones. Prints are not something we’ve seen her gravitate to. Keeping that in mind, here are some looks that are just outside of her comfort zone but not thaat big a leap that’d she’d be too wary of ’em.
