Disha was seen at a style awards event wearing a couture piece from Gaurav Gupta which was modified from the runway to omit the strap. The piece on the model looked pretty nice but on Disha, A) sat too low and didn’t really need to be B) the ruching on the skirt looked like it was gonna fall apart which surprises me on the quality of tailoring on a couture piece. Maybe this was made in a rush for her.

Olivia attended an awards event wearing a strapless white gown from Gaurav Gupta paired with white and sapphire earrings whose shape played off the silshouette of the gown. The gown did feel a tad too long on her but she still looked good.

Shakira has kicked of her world tour and has sourced two outfits from two Indian designes. A red embroidered bra-lette and skirt from Anamika Khanna and a sculpted gown featuring Gaurav Gupta‘s signature metal corset. Loved to see it!

At an event to promote a haircare brand, Sonam was seen in a custom Gaurav Gupta featuring his signature metal corset but this time paired with a sculpted flared midi skirt. Any other day, I would’ve asked for a chic sleek updo and ear jackets but given the event is for a hair product, the wearing of the hair any other way was not gonna be an option.

That skirt silhouette would’ve looked bulky and overwhelming on someone else but doesn’t feel so on her. Having said that, me, I would’ve still preferred a sleeker skirt. What say you?
