Richa opted for a Gaurav Gupta dress at the Filmfare Pre-Awards bash wearing it with silver t-strap Choos and jewellery from Anmol. Between the exaggerated neckline and the length, the proportions felt a bit off with the look. One felt like the hemline should’ve below the knee to have the right effect.

Waist up, she looked good.

For two recent events, Pernia wore white with a bit of sparkle. For her appearance at the GQ event, she picked an Anand Bhushan dress. Armani Privè pumps and a Corto Moltedo clutch finished out her look. More recently, it was a Gaurav Gupta skinny suit for Ms. Qureshi. Wearing it with a La Perla bustier, she finished out the look with Saint Laurent pumps.

Though she wears both looks well, it was her appearance in the Gaurav Gupta suit that was the more striking one.

At the Asiavision Awards that took place in Dubai on Thursday evening, Amala was seen in a red Gaurav Gupta gown.

Waist up, she looked great. Waist down though, especially around the hips, the gown didn’t seem to fall right. That figure-hugging effect that would’ve elevated this look seemed to be missing.

For the music launch of her upcoming movie, Amala picked a Gaurav Gupta sari-gown. Pairing the designer’s signature silhouette with a cocktail ring and t-strap sandals, the actor finished out her look with a braided updo. When paired with dress, the cape didn’t quite work on Ms. Paul. And as for the dress itself, we weren’t big fans of the floral-sheer portion. That said, sans cape, Amala did wear the dress well. Props to her for pulling it off, we suspect most others wouldn’t have.

It was a Gaurav Gupta dress for Lisa while at a recent event. An updo, white pumps and a box clutch finished out the look. The dress with its sculpted shoulder-sleeve detail isn’t our cup of tea but to her credit, Ms. Ray wears the dramatic dress better than most others would.
