Alia picked a Ralph & Russo Couture as well for her turn on the red carpet. But unlike Sonam, she had better luck with her choice of gown. A simple updo and sun-kissed/glow-y make-up complemented the gown well. She looked good.

Deepika stuck to the tried and tested in her Alberta Ferretti gown. Her signature teased/tousled updo and dark eyes rounded out the look. She looked good, sure. But it also looked repetitive, safe and dare we say it, meh!

Sonam opted for a pink Ralph & Russo gown from the duo’s Spring 2019 couture collection to wear to the Filmfare Awards on Saturday evening. As you can see, the runway piece didn’t have the arm sleeves and while adding them made for an interesting change, the gown itself looked hardly couture worthy, when you looked at the fit.
