Black Was The Night

Wearing black separates with a strong red lip, navy embellished clutch and neutral peep-toe pumps, Amrita attended a soirée held in Mumbai last night. Also present at the Birthday do was Gauri, who for her appearance also picked black, a Léger which she paired with an exotic clutch. As with the former attendee, she too finished out her look with a striking red lip and peep-toe pumps. Now, of the two, it was easy to pick Amrita as the favorite. Between the tired Léger and heavy hair, Gauri didn’t really have much of a chance!

In Stella McCartney

Sonam did lace at Farah’s birthday bash wearing a black Stella McCartney dress. While I found the neckline very interesting, wasn’t a fan of the dress itself. Between the neckline and the uneven hemline, it just felt too busy. Also not helping was the make-up which felt a lil’ lackluster. Probably a deliberate move given that so much was going on with the dress itself.

For Kangana, it was a hot pink Gucci suit look, one that she wore with a polka-dot black shirt. Sporting her trademark curls, she finished out the look with a black bag and Louboutin pumps.

In Burberry

Deepika opted for a simple look (relatively) at the birthday bash wearing a chiffon Burberry dress with a nude Saint Laurent sling bag and nude Louboutins.

While I like the dress and make-up, I think the nude accessories felt too plain for the dress. One printed item, either the pumps or clutch, would’ve elevated the look more. What say you?

Farah’s 50th birthday bash saw Lara in a floral-print BCBG dress that was finished out with BCBG sandals and a Louis Vuitton satin minaudiere.

She looked great!
