It was an all-over embellished Manish Malhotra gown for Divya at IIFA Rocks. A low, side ponytail in place, she finished out her look with a pink lip and drop earrings. You’d think the color might wash her out but it didn’t! While it may not be among our favorite looks of the night, Ms. Kumar did make the look work for her.

Divya attended a recent movie premiere wearing Ashima Leena. With her hair in a wispy updo, she finished out the look with earrings from Satyani Fine Jewels and a Bottega Veneta clutch. She looked nice!

While some of you may find the dress busy, I like its tapestry vibe, very reminiscent of the Seventies boho aesthetic. Perhaps to make it more contemporary (but in a vintage inspired way), would’ve added a cat-eye, gold studs and stack of bangles on one arm (worn over the sleeve). But that’s me, always just a tad vintage obsessed.

Wearing a sweeping Manish Malhotra full-skirted gown, Divya attended Preity and Gene’s wedding reception. With her hair in a slick ponytail, a statement choker from Amar Ghanasingh rounded out the look. Aside from the combination being overdone, there are times when the addition of traditional jewelry with contemporary silhouettes just seems forced but that wasn’t the case here, the contrast worked well. Divya looked nice!
