Perhaps because the dress falls longer on Dia and is missing the black sash/tie at the waist, the DKNY dress wasn’t as flattering. It just seemed frumpy. And then the black pumps… Sigh. That being said, Ms. Mirza by virtue of being Ms. Mirza makes this look seem a whole lot better than it actually is.

These ladies went the lehenga route too at the Sangeet. Of the three, Dia was our favorite and Anusha, our least favorite. Not a fan of the lehenga, nor the way it was worn. Nishka too looked pretty great but needs to change up the hair every now and then.

Sure we’ve seen these lovely ladies don a sari before but specifically this look certainly was a first. We tried really hard to like ’em but… It’s a Not Quite for us.

Both their blouses seem to overwhelm them. However, if we had to pick, we’d choose by a wee bit margin Sonali who manages to still somehow make it work somewhat.

P.S: Sonali is in Abu Sandeep and Dia in Anamika Khanna.
