Dia, who stars in the Indo-Iranian film Salaam Mumbai, was in Iran this week for the movie’s promotions and sported several desi looks.

Wearing a metallic hunter-green dress with ankle-strap sandals and jewelry by Malvika Vaswani, Dia attended a summit recently. She looked good.
I guess as PoB (person of Bollywood), you are expected to bring some glam in to an otherwise staid event but the not quite discreet jewelry when paired with a lurex-ish dress hit bit of a sore note at a summit. Dia who usually does understated well would’ve been better served with minimalist jewelry. All that said, she of course looked good, so there’s that.

Dia wore a Rocky S gown to Manish’s birthday party that consisted of an embellished black bodice and a floral printed skirt. Between the gown itself looking so disconnected and the uncharacteristic show of the leg, I really couldn’t bring myself to like this look on her.

After a sari and a lehenga on previous days, Dia went with another lehenga Sunday wearing an printed Anita Dongre one from the designer’s couture collection. Hair in an updo, her festive look was finished out with jewellery from Amrapali and a metallic clutch.

Dia picked light silk looks this Diwali wearing a yellow sari to one party and a Gaurang lehenga to another. While she looked lovely in both, I adored the lehenga look just a tad bit more.
