At promotions for XXX: Return Of Xander Cage in Mexico, Deepika was seen in a knit Prabal Gurung dress and black Charlotte Olympia sandals. Looks like she heard some of you and refrained from sporting a sleek hair, which worked here because it made the look feel a bit casual and not over-styled.

On an aside, we’ve seen her sport her Zanotti triple-strap sandals quite a few times, wonder if this one will also get the same amount of love.

Deepika jetted off to Los Angeles on Sunday for XXX: Return Of Xander Cage promotions and was seen at the airport wearing a Chloe cape with a Dior top, and skinny denims. A Celine luggage tote and Sergio Rossi sandals finished out her look.

The three-strap sandal suddenly has become quite a favorite with the leading ladies of tinsel town. Deepika has sported her silver Zanotti with many of her looks. Alia has been seen wearing the style in not just one but three different colors and while she sported her silver ones to Manish’s party, Parineeti also was seen at the same event wearing a black version and then at a different event in a white pair.

After a string of fierce looks, Ms. Padukone served a more girly one in a beaded Bibhu Mohapatra dress today to the Kid’s Choice Awards. Given the event, the softer look did make sense.

At first glance I didn’t like the hairdo but the more I look, the more am warming up to her look, possibly because she did look sweet.

I do wish she’d picked a different dress from this collection. The nude lining didn’t seem to photograph well under camera flashes.

Wearing a custom Gauri and Nainika gown featuring dramatic all-over ruffles and a sexy cutout, Deepika attended the Star Screen Awards on Sunday evening. In recent times, we’ve seen Ms. Padukone do heavy eye-makeup and perhaps that’s why I am liking this change of pace here with just the winged eye. Given that the gown itself was so striking, am glad there is no other competing element here.

She looked amazing.
