Aishwarya, who lends her voice to the hindi-dubbed version of the film, ‘Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil’, stepped out in an all-black look at its trailer launch back in October of last year. Teaming the asymmetrical jacquard jacket with cigarette pants and Christian Louboutin slingbacks, the actor finished out the look with her signature centre-parted poker-straight hair do.

As much as the look had potential, the hair just weighs the look down and almost makes it look dated. Not one of Ms. Bachchan’s better sightings but then again, it did definitely make for a welcome change from what we had been seeing her in lately.

For a round of movie promotions in the capital, Deepika picked Erdem to wear. Discreet earrings, fishnet stockings and pair of classic Louboutins rounded out the actor’s look.

Sure it’s a lot of red but, boy did Deepika make every bit of that look work. She looked striking; I like.

Teaming Prabal Gurung pants with a We11Done top, Deepika helped promote her latest movie at an event recently. With her hair pulled back in to a ponytail, she rounded out the look with oversized hoops and classic sky-high Louboutins.

For the song launch, it was Alberta Ferretti for the actor. With her hair pulled back in to a low knot, she rounded out the look with Prerto earrings and metallic pumps.

Both looks seem excessive but Deepika on her part made ’em work for her. Here’s hoping it’s the last we see of those embellished acid-washed denims.
