And The Wheels Go Round And Round…
Chanel is apprantly launching a bicycle as part of their spring/summer 2008 collection that comes with its signature quilted leather and double-C logo!
Its of course a great way to do your bit for the environment, while looking good doing it! And will be available come December. But all that style might set you back a bit. If a bit was $12,400.
I know, I know. Read more Here.

Chanel’s Ankle Purse
We compiled a list of what we think some folks could also use the purse for! (All suggestions are to be taken with a pinch of salt, of course..)
5. To keep your credit card and phone because you JUST don’t want to carry a big ole bag! (Added bonus: every time you bend to get your phone, you get to do your AB workout…)
4. To store your ankle weights if you are a hardcore jogger.
3. To hide your alcohol ankle monitor if you are on probation.
2. If you are not yet on probation, to hide some miniature vodka bottles!
1. And last but not least..To cover up that ugly “heart” tattoo you got on your ankle for the boyfriend who “guess what!” just dumped you!
Do you have any quirky uses for these bags? We want to hear it!

Book Launch Launches Bag’mania..
.. for us anyway!
The book launch in question was the photo-essay book about Sunil and Nargis Dutt written by their daughters Priya and Namrata. As usual, not only were the who’s who of Mumbai present but also making an appearance were their bags!
We (Well Heeled and I) couldn’t stop “oooh-ing” the uber-expensive Bottega Veneta Lizard clutch carried by Gauri Khan. (Life is really good when you are SRK’s wife!)
Buy via Neiman Marcus
We also caught Simi Garewal carrying her favorite, the LV Suhali L’Aimable shoulder bag.
Buy via eLuxury
Finally, the fabulous Neetu Singh-Kapoor carrying the timeless Chanel quilted clutch!

Cover This!
Vogue India is going to be debuting with a smokin’ hot cover with Bipasha Basu in Roberto Cavalli, Gemma Ward in Valentino, Priyanka Chopra in Giorgio Armani, Lakshmi Menon in Chanel, Preity Zinta in Christian Dior, and Monikangana Dutta in Gucci!
I think Basu and Dutta totally steal the show, umm, cover! But this cover totally reminds me of the inaugaral cover of Vogue China which also had the seemingly mandatory Gemma Ward.
What do you all think?
