For her recent appearance, Sobhita picked Lola by Suman B to wear. With her hair in a sleek updo, she rounded out the look with Her Story jewelry and a Christian Louboutin evening bag. She made the look work for her, as she does more often than not.

For her appearance, Shibani (who also emceed the event) picked a Manika Nanda dress to wear. Wavy hair, glossy red lip, a cocktail ring and black sandals rounded out the look. She wears her dress well, no doubting that. However, I do wish she had swapped her red lip color for a pink/fuchsia-toned one, would’ve worked way better with the blue of her dress.

Wearing a Rahul Mishra sheath, Poorna attended the opening presentations at Lakme Fashion Week. With her hair up, Jamini Ahluwalia earrings, Isharya ring and Zara ankle-strap sandals finished out her look. She looked great! (Except for her make-up that just didn’t photograph well under all the camera flashes.)

Poorna attended the Grazia Young Fashion Awards wearing a Gaurav Gupta lamé gown. We’ll be the first to admit, we aren’t fans of the material but Gaurav’s latest collection did make us sit up and take notice and this one surely caught my eye.
In the absence of all the camera flashes, I can imagine the fluid metallic gown probably looked hot! Unfortunately, on camera, it’s hard to get a good read. The fabric issue aside, my bigger issue with the look is the fit. The gown almost seems too big on Poorna. That and the earrings, and it all just seemed too much to absorb.
Not working. Not one bit.

Wearing a Dior dress, Poorna put in an appearance at a recent soirée. Pink pumps, color-blocked Ferragamo clutch and earrings from Koëcsh finished out her look.
One to almost always get it right, this look didn’t quite pass muster. Sleeker hair, less obtrusive pair of earrings and different pumps would’ve really helped but as it stands, the look just didn’t quite come together. Let’s call this one a Not Quite!
