Sara, who is representing FICCI and IFFI Goa at Cannes, was seen at the India Pavilion wearing a white jumpsuit from Safiyaa. She also attended a Vanity Fair/Red Sea Film Festival party wearing a Rachel Gilbert fringe gown.

She looked nice in both.

At her first appearance on the red carpet, Mrunal was seen wearing a white Falguni and Shane Peacock gown. Hair in a side-part sleek do, her look was finished out with fish-bone drop earrings. Picking a white gown was surely a good move as she surely stood out at the night event. Having said that though, I am not a fan of the multiple cutouts and that ruffle. The gown surely feels a bit overthought out.

Boy, I miss the days of simple and elegant. Can someone/anyone just give us that?

Aja, who is a Loreal ambassador, walked the red carpet wearing a one-shouldered Gaurav Gupta gown. Personally, I don’t like that necklace with that gown. Would’ve loved seeing a ruby neckpiece or some light pink stones. But, that was a minor gripe. I was just loving seeing a GG on the red carpet.

Now, in case, your head is wondering towards why didn’t Ash wear something like this, it is because she already wore a Gupta last year and looked phenomenal in it.

Wearing a Sophie Couture sequin gown, Aishwarya made her first red carpet appearance at Cannes 2023. The original gown didn’t feature the dramatic bow but here it was and because of it and that hood, she looked like an individually wrapped candy and it was not a sweet thing. Pun very intended.

Having said that, this could’ve been a fierce look if she’d worn that hair in a sleek bun. That would’ve complemented the signature red lip well.

Mrunal attended a few events and photoshoots on her second day at Cannes and was seen wearing a Falguni and Shane Peacock sari gown first and then in a customer Anamika Khanna embroidered full sleeve top and skirt set featuring a hood.

Loved her in the sari-gown. It was light-weight breezy and perfect. The AK look though was terrible. The patch design itself was hard to like but then to add a hood to the separates was just bizarre. The only respite is that the dress it seems isn’t her red carpet outfit. Hopefully she does better and not worse.
