Bhumi was seen at the Westwood show in monogrammed denims from their latest offerings paired it with a whole lotta pearls. The oufit sure was striking. Just wish the pants were just a tad an inch shorter.

Bhumi attended promotions for her movie last week in Pune and was seen wearing a printed cape and skirt set from Nitya Bajaj featuring a crochet bralette. We all probably have midriff fatigue with her promotional looks but that aside, I quite liked this one on her.

Promotions in Delhi saw Ms. Pednekar in an ikat strapless top and skirt from The Ikat Story paired with boots. Now, I loved the desi-boho jewellery pairing here. The top and skirt itself, not so much.

At Monday promotions of her movie in Mumbai, Bhumi was seen in a checked sari from Raw Mango known these days mostly as Paalum Pazhamums. The name comes from the 1960s movie named the same and in which B. Saroji Devi wore such saris leading to the pattern of this weave to be called such.
Coming back to Ms. Pednekar, it is amusing to me that even here, she couldn’t resist wearing the sari seedha palla way to show off the midriff yet again. Her Lucknow appearance on Sunday had me believe perhaps she was ready to go a different route with styling. Doesn’t seem like it.

Saturday promotions of her movie saw Ms. Pednekar in another skirt set but not an elaborate lehenga that she was sporting earlier in the promotion cycle. She picked a printed halter top and drawstring set from Abraham & Thakore pairing it with pumps and silver jewellery. Note to Ms. Pednekar, I got nothing against flaunting that midriff every now and then. But to do it at every outing becomes overkill.
