More promotional appearances, more looks to decipher. And I do mean decipher. The brown separates weren’t without issues but it’s the look in Hene that had us truly take a second to let it all sink in. It’s a jacket with ruched sleeves and a train. Paired with biker shorts. Outside of perhaps an editorial, it was a bold choice to wear it but not a risk that paid off. It just didn’t work. Hair and make-up though, both times worked well; Bhumi looked lovely neck up.

Was Bhumi successful in selling either of the two looks to you?

Giving shimmer bit of a rest, Bhumi picked two non-embellished dresses for a recent round of movie promotions. For one appearance, she picked a ruched mini by Nisse, one that she teamed with Public Desire sandals. While at another event, she was photographed wearing Wesley Harriott. With her hair pulled back in to a ponytail, she rounded out that look with Jeffrey Campbell sandals.

As much as we appreciate the change of pace, can’t say we were big fans of either outfit.

During the course of her movie promotions, Bhumi sure hasn’t shied awat from sparkle. For one appearance of hers, she teamed an embellished crop-top with slouchy/boyfriend jeans and ankle-strap sandals. For another, it was a high-low Hemant and Nandita dress. Which do you think she fared better in?

Bhumi attended events for her movie this past week and was seeing wearing sequin looks twice, first in an Alina Anwar Couture gown on Monday and then in a pantsuit by Dhruv Kapoor on Friday.

Between the two, much preferred her in the gown. As for the pant suit, I loved the pantsuit and I don’t mind the bralet, but I would’ve preferred it styled where the blazer was buttoned and the bralet had that peekaboo effect.

For the success party of her recent movie, Bhumi picked a striped tank dress to wear. With volume in her hair, she rounded out the look with multiple gold-toned dainty necklaces and clear ankle-strap sandals.

These aren’t the best angles (but the only images we were able to get), but it’s easy to see that the body-con dress looked great on her curves; she looked nice. Just wish she had picked different shoes, even basic tan pumps would’ve elevated the look a whole lot more.
