While promoting her upcoming movie, Huma was photographed in a Lavish Alice dress. Minus the color, there wasn’t much else redeemable about the look. The silhouette, those buttons (rhinestone? crystal?), the stockings, the mesh pumps, all just wrong, very very wrong. And if the intention was to do a retro look, it still didn’t work. Huma deserves so much better!

Vaani chose to do rather ornate suits for her upcoming movie’s promotions- an ivory Manish Malhotra and a dusty pink Anita Dongre. Given how her co-actors dressed for the occasion, it definitely seemed bit of an overkill. Keeping all else simple and letting the suits take center-stage while on paper might have seemed like a good idea, in reality, the starkness only made the whole look stand out more. If you’ve gone this OTT (relative to all others at the event), might as well go all out and throw on some stand-out jewelry too.
Sure, Vaani makes the looks work but by no means were either of these exciting. Much preferred her here.

Lara attended a promotional event for her upcoming movie wearing a round neck black top and animal print skirt paired with ankle strap sandals. Now, in theory, this should make for a very striking look except it wasn’t. That faux sleeve tie detail on the skirt was just so unnecessary and distracting. Part of me almost wants to rip them off.

Vaani attended promotions for an upcoming movie today wearing a one-shoulder dress from Tran Hung with black pumps. Given the sheer material which gave the dress a sexy touch, glad she kept everything else simple. She looked nice without the appearance feeling too over the top.
