Wearing a pleated black dress, Karisma attended a recent do. With her hair pulled back in a ponytail, she finished out the look with a Balenciaga clutch and a pair of what might be Dsquared2 pumps. It’s an expected look from Ms. Kapoor but also one that she does well; Karisma looked good.

We’ll admit, seeing Ms. Shetty in a kantha jacket was quite a surprise. A very good one at that. But, while I loved her foray into desi-boho territory, the bag choice felt a bit odd. Sometimes, mismatching works but in this case, the metallic Balenciaga felt out of place.

Manasi took in Akaaro’s show at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week wearing a black tunic dress by the designer and finishing out the look with a pair of black pumps and a Balenciaga Giant backpack that she carried folded as a handbag.

Part of me wishes she’d worn the tunic with lace-up boots or a pair of Doc Martens. Would’ve really made the look edgy. Not that she didn’t look nice. She looked cute.

For the Beauty Awards, socialite and designer, Ramona Narang picked a white Balenciaga dress. Wearing her hair back, she finished out her look with a Shourouk necklace, McQueen clutch, Louboutin pumps and a Bulgari Serpenti watch.

While the crystal and jade necklace pairs well with the dress, the gold watch feels a touch out of place with rest of the look. Minus that lil’ detail, Ms. Narang looked nice.
