Virat and Anushka attended the Bachchan Diwali party where she was seen in a Sabyasachi lehenga and jewellery from his jewellery line. I do like the top and jewellery but the big arch designs are not my cup of tea. I also don’t care for the fact that she looks exactly like a model from the shoot. She’s only missing that bindi.

For the main Diwali party at their home, Aishwarya changed from her simple kurta churidaar to a more heavy lehenga by Manish Malhotra while hubby Abhishek picked another pink kurta by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
Despite the color, the lehenga felt rather overwhelming and we weren’t fans. 🙁

At the Bachchans’ Diwali do, Maria was photographed in a Payal Singhal sari, a designer she frequently favors. Aside from the black bindi and the bright lip, a sparkly clutch and jewelry that included layered necklaces and stack of bangles finished out the look. She looked lovely! (Though we’d have definitely preferred seeing a smaller clutch here.)

Sophie picked an orange Manish Malhotra lehenga for a recent Diwali soirée. Wearing her hair up, she finished out her look with a diamond matha-patti from Anmol Jewellers.
Given that she skipped all other jewelry to let the matha-patti have its moment, wish she had picked a softer updo. As is, the effect was rather stark. That minor gripe aside, she made the look work; love the color on her.

Alia attended the Bachchan Diwali party wearing a Sanjay Garg lehenga which on the runway was presented with a blue brocade dupatta and a pink lehenga skirt. Alia’s look let the brocade blouse be the highlight and swapping the other pieces with cream versions worked for her. The look from the runway would’ve felt too mature on her.
