Ms. Wadhwa loves working in statement necklaces into her outfits… Three very different looks, all paired with chunky necklaces. However, one look that didn’t quite need one was her most recent appearance at Samsaara.
At the event in question, Reena paired brown cropped pants with a Gucci shirt, Gucci thong sandals, a Gucci bag and multi-strand gold necklace… Which let’s face it, was completely lost in the print of her shirt and unnecessary.
P.S: If the Gucci shirt on Reena (at the Samsaara event) looks familiar, it’s because we’ve seen Natasha and Feroze wear the print in it’s dress version here.

Payal Says: The bright blue with the gold is a no-go for me! Perhaps had it been a maxi to offset that neck, it would’ve worked… but as is, it doesn’t!
Priyanka Says: I like how the neckline mimics tribal jewelry as well as the contrasting colors! It sure is a change from the usual. And like the fact that she put her hair up and wore minimal jewelry to let the dress do the talking. For me, it works.

Both these ladies chose to go with bold bursts of color when at the recent Audi launch and both made it work in their own way… Sophie turned up the dial on the ‘young-glamazon’ factor with her dress, while Lata Patel was age appropriate and totally owned hers! Refreshing to see such vivid color amidst the usual LBDs!

Spotted Manasi in a modifed version of the same gown seen first on Katrina with more details and minus the ugly patchwork. The color of this gown is so lovely that it almost is making me forget all of Manasi’s WTHeyyy looks! (See them here and here)
