Wearing an Arpita Mehta lehenga-sari, Amala attended the audio launch of the Tamil movie ‘ Idhu Enna Maayam’. Given the full-sleeve blouse and the pattern, it was a good move to keep it simple on accessories. While she looked nice, I found the stitched box pleats on the lehenga itself a bit odd.

At a press conference for Dum Laga Ke Haisha related to Holi, Bhumi did desi in a cheery Arpita Mehta suit and pearl chaand baali style earrings.

Given the bright suit, it was a good move to go nude on the makeup and footwear. She looked nice.

Jacqueline picked a white and blue Arpita Mehta lehenga finishing out the look with gold jhumkis and a simple gold bangle. Considering some of the other guests at the do, her look may have felt a relatively simple but that isn’t to say she didn’t look nice. She did.

It was a family affair at the music launch of Shamitabh with dad Kamal and Shruti in attendance lending their support to Akshara. For the event, Shruti wore an Arpita Mehta lehenga with a matching mirrored grey potli and hair in german style braids.

Between the hairdo and the sheer choli with its stark lining, the overall look just felt overkill. A simpler black top and maybe our eyes wouldn’t feel like they were being drawn in every direction.
