At this do, black was the color du jour. Question is, does anyone particularly jump out at ya?

Sonakshi lost us at the material, Alvira & Sangeeta at the rosettes.

The lace jumpsuit that Anu had on was cute but the uneven lining just killed it for us. What a waste.

Toe overhang was Ayesha’s issue and considering it also rained, we really wonder how she managed to get out of those leather/pleather leggings. A lil’ humidity and we’re always struggling.

As you know, we’d kill for the McQueen studded clutch and we loved the Camilla Skovgaards on Falguni, but plain black on black wasn’t quite the best way to wear the two accessories.

It almost seems like Kangna decided she wanted to dress up but gave up on the idea 3/4ths of the way. How else can you explain pairing those sandals with the chiffon/satin ensemble? Not that we like that skirt. Terrible fit.

I am tired of seeing Malaika in these short numbers. In fact I am tired of seeing itsy bitsy numbers on folks, period.

My irritability aside, love the patent blue Chanel clutch. Just wish Ms. Arora had picked a blazer to wear with the short dress and worn a choker necklace instead of the big cuff. Would’ve balanced out the look a whole lot better.

At her birthday do, Arpita opted for a Falguni and Shane Peacock embellished dress which she paired with Jimmy Choo booties. Dramatic eye make-up, cocktail ring and wavy hair completed her look. Our call? The birthday girl looked great; we like.

P.S: You may recall seeing the same dress on Sophie and Katrina, albeit with shoulder-pads.
