We had not one but two sighting of Jatin Varma gowns on the red carpet. While Miss India Ankita wore a custom blue tiered one, Swara on the right wore a runway piece from the designer’s Resort 2011 collection.

Neither gown was our cup of tea. Do you like either?

We aren’t sure if it is the lighting and/or camera flash to blame but, we do much prefer the color of the gown as shown on the runway than off. Also, wish there was a front facing picture. Of what we do see of the Jatin Varma gown on Ankita, we can tell you that she already lost us at the hair and make-up.
