Kalki was photographed at a recent event wearing Anavila. An updo, earrings, belt and tan sandals rounded out the look. The linen dress though perfect for summer, was rather drab for an event promoting her movie. With different hair and accessories the look would’ve stood a chance but as is, the sighting left us rather underwhelmed.

Tisca went the sari route at the L’Oréal Women Of Worth Awards wearing a color-blocked white and grey Anavila one with a black boat-neck style blouse, a Suhani Pittie necklace and an Amrapali silver clutch.

We’ve seen Ms. Chopra in Anavila and Suhani Pittie before but what made this look stand out was the sleek middle-parted do. It was quite unexpected and made quite the statement. I loved!

Roshni attended a recent book launch wearing an Anavila sari. With her hair in an updo, she finished out the look with an En Inde necklace. Not much to fault here; she looked good!

At a conference on Thursday in Mumbai, Vidya was spotted sporting her signature look in an Anavila sari. What could’ve been a really pretty look was ruined by that hair over the ears ponytail and that huge necklace that could give Flavor Flav some serious envy!

Now, I know many of you have given up on Ms. Balan and think we should just stop featuring her. But, we quite haven’t. We don’t expect her to give fashion forward looks but at least not look this bad in a sari. I know for a fact that you can wear a sari everyday and look good. (Heck, we have our mothers who’ve shown it to us!)

Here’s hoping she is reading. 🙂
