Wearing floral Anavila saris, both Maria and Tisca attended the designer’s store launch in Mumbai yesterday.

As charming as Maria looks in practically anything she wears, the drape in this case cost her points. If we had to choose between the lovely ladies, Tisca would have our vote (despite liking the former’s sari more).

At Anavila Misra’s store launch, both Kiran and Tillotama lent their support by sporting saris by the designer. Though we may not always be on board with their sartorial choices, we do love the fact that they stay strong to their personal style, which was true of this instance too.

While Ms. Shome wears her look well, it wasn’t quite our cup of tea. If we had to choose, Kiran would have our vote in this match-up; love the sari-blouse combo on her.

Both Avantika and Ashvini attended Anavila’s Mumbai store launch wearing saris by the designer. Wearing her hair in a messy braid, Avantika finished out the look with a big bindi and cocktail ring. Aside from a cocktail ring, Ashvini added a pair of big earrings to round out her look. The ladies looked nice.

While attending a puja hosted by stylist Ami Patel, Kangana was seen wearing a linen Anavila sari. Seeing our leading ladies in simple saris these days has become a rare occasion, so it was nice to her here. She looked great!

Geeta Tandon, a stuntwoman in Bollywood who serves up as double for Deepika, Malaika and more, was honored for her work in the industry recently with a Fempowerment Women Achievers Award. For the event, she kept it simple in a grey Anavila linen sari wearing it with silver jewellery.

She looked lovely.
