Producer Krishika Lulla attended the closing ceremony of MAMI wearing Anamika Khanna. While we loved the separates, can’t say the same about the overall look. The pumps were just too chunky, the feathered clutch a complete eye-sore, and the jewellery too traditional a choice for the fusion separates.

Non-platform pumps, a basic Bottega Veneta clutch and basic gold studs would’ve made the separates stand out a whole lot more.

Two more promotional appearances from Sonam saw her in two desi looks, one an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and the other, an Anamika Khanna. Which of the two here do you prefer her more in?

She wore ’em well but my eyes are drawn more towards those Apala By Sumit long earrings (worn with the AJSK look). Need it now!

Doing Denim

Deepika attended two events today wearing denim and Louboutin pumps to both. She first attended a seminar at the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival wearing a mustard Balmain blazer that was paired with a metallic tiger print Stella McCartney denim. Lack of time is probably why she kept her hairdo the same and switched into the floral Anamika Khanna long jacket and Zara denims for the music launch of Tamasha.

Question is, which denim look of hers do you prefer? The blazer or the long jacket? We loved ’em both!

Sonam sported a few more desi looks this week for promotions of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo with two looks being very ornate and two relatively simple.

Of them all, got a favorite? We loved all the outfits but in the Anuradha Vakil, the way the dupatta was draped, the look felt too costumey. Maybe we are missing the full picture because it looked all she was missing there was a pair of dandiya sticks.

Katrina attended the opening night of the 2015 MAMI Mumbai Film Festival wearing Anamika Khanna. You’ll remember Jacqueline wearing a cream variation of the look at IIFAs this year.

Putting aside my jealousy over that waist and the fact that she looked really good waist up, am not a fan of the skirt. And this is coming from a die-hard AK fan. Perhaps, if the skirt was more high-waisted , there wouldn’t feel such a huge disconnect between the top and the bottom.

I also wish she’d worn open toe sandals instead of those pumps.
