In Sabyasachi

Like Deepika, Dia too picked a fully-embellished Sabyasachi for IIFA (though thankfully we had our sightings on two different nights). The ombré pink and gold gown looked great on Ms. Mirza. Making for a welcome change, it served up enough glam for the green carpet without veering too far off from her personal style. We like.

An updo, sparkly clutch (which we had a minor gripe with) and Amrapali jewelry finished out her look.

In Sabyasachi

Deepika sparkled on the green carpet in her fully embellished Sabyasachi. Anyone else, and we’d be calling them out on it but, what could easily be overwhelming on someone else works just fine on her. An updo, Amrapali earrings and oxblood lip finished out her look. She owns every bit of it and looked great!

In Sonaakshi Raaj

For the IIFA event being held tonight, Bipasha picked the celeb favorite, Sonaakshi Raaj draped sari-gown. An updo, Amrapali earrings and pop of color on her lips finished out the look. A definite improvement over her last sighting don’t you think?

Of Promotions

Before picking up her Padma Shri, Vidya visited Melbourne to promote the upcoming Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and sported several saris.

For the press meet event, it was a Debashri Samanta printed sari, one that she wore with Amrapali earrings. The surprise element of this look was the puffed hairdo which was quite interesting and one that am still figuring out if I like or not.

The next day for a dinner event, she changed it up wearing a vibrant orange Gaurang lehenga and Jaipur Gems jewellery. Day three saw her in a floral Shruti Sancheti sari, one that I particularly wasn’t a fan of.

During her stay, she was also part of a photoshoot wearing a dress by Akira Isogawa and a specially woven fabric created by Susan Dimasi that was draped as a sari.

Of all the looks that she sported, which one was your favorite?

In Anamika Khanna

Wearing an Anamika Khanna sari, Jacqueline attended a recent event in Mumbai. Wearing her hair up, she finished out the look with Amrapali jewelry. Minus the choice of earrings (wish she had picked something smaller), she looked nice!

P.S: See the sari on Pernia Qureshi here.
