At the trailer unveiling of her movie, Badrinath ki Dulhania, Alia was seen in a red Manish Malhotra gown featuring a cold shoulder and fringe sleeves.

Any other color and I might have liked the gown but in the red, it was a lot to take in. Also, the gold earrings felt out of place here. Dior double sided pearl studs would’ve worked better here. I think the aim was to do a modern desi look but I feel that overall it was neither here nor there.

Wearing a gingham print bow blouse and culottes from Marc Jacobs, Kangana attended promotions for Rangoon on Thursday. There wasn’t much to complain here. She looked good.

While at a recent event in Mumbai, Kangana was photographed in a Tarun Tahiliani suit. Naturally curly hair in place, the actor finished out her look with a bindi, understated jewelry and pair of matching jootis.

Issue with heavy-handed blush aside, Ms. Ranaut looked rather lovely.

It was a Falguni And Shane Peacock sari for Kangana while at a recent soirée in Mumbai. Metallic sandals, a pair of diamond studs and cocktail ring finished out the look well. She nailed ‘minimalist glamour puss’; wouldn’t change a thing. Kangana looked good.

For radio promotions of Rangoon, Kangana sported yet another Fendi look from the Spring 2017 collection. If you had a sense of déjà vu seeing her here, you were not alone and it is possibly because of this Stella McCartney look of hers from 2015 (see below as well).

Having worn the Stella look so well, this one didn’t feel as up to par. I also didn’t care for the maxi. The materially looked quite stiff rather than flowy.
