Alia kicked off Raazi promotions in Mumbai today wearing a blue printed Anita Dongre anarkali with silver earrings and silver sandals. Going by the fact that she went makeup free, one wonders if this was an in-character appearance. Also if we’re going to see more of her like this at the rest of the promotional tour.

She did look sweet.

Kajal opted for a black ruffled sari by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla to wear to the Zee Apsara Awards. The sari itself may not by my cup of tea, not one bit, but she carried it off well. Props for going jewellery free, else we’d be veering into the too much bling territory.

Wearing a pink chiffon gown by Nedret Taciroglu, Alia attended the GQ Style Awards in Mumbai on Saturday evening. Instead of a bold red lip, the actor sported hints of red via her eye makeup and finished out the look with a sleek updo and pink ankle-strap platform sandals.

The leggy actor chose a lace Pinko suit for a recent appearance of hers. Wearing her hair down, as she is usually wont to do, the actor rounded out the look with a glossy lip and pair of neutral sandals.

Nothing to fault here; she worked every bit of that suit!

At the pre-release function of her upcoming movie, Kajal was seen in a Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2017 silk dress paired with black pumps. If you look at the dress, between the embroidered puffy shoulders and the elastic sleeves, the dress itself was quite busy. And it is likely that’s why the styling was kept simple.

Having said that, this wasn’t a dress I was gravitating to in the first place and the styling only makes it focus on it even more, which is not really working to its advantage.
