Alia and Shahid kicked off Shaandaar promotions on radio on Friday where the young actor was seen in a white Hemant & Nandita dress paired with lace-up boots from Forever 21.

Alia and Shahid unveiled another song from their movie ‘Shaandaar’ today with Alia wearing a custom dress made by Ami Patel featuring poems, paintings and doodles sent to Alia by her fans.
The dress was quite a novel idea and a cute way to tell her fans, she loves ’em too.

Wearing an ILK overall with a checked shirt and metallic sneakers, Alia helped unveil the latest song from Shaandaar.
Given the square neckline of the overall, wearing a round neck tee would’ve worked better here but I think she still looked cute. Is the shirt pick a deal breaker for you?

Before it even hit the runway, Monisha Jaising‘s sequin gown was scooped up by Bazaar Bride for their September cover which features Alia in a head to toe burgundy look. Barring the random placement of the Gucci Dionysus bag, must admit, she looked good!

At the Shaandaar/Close-Up tie-up event, Alia was seen in a custom Ami Patel tee, one that she wore with distressed denims and Zara sandals that we can’t seem to have enough sightings of.
While she looked cute, the strappy close-toe sandals not only felt a bit repetitive, for good reason, but felt too heavy for the casual look.
On an aside, before you get into a conspiracy theory about how we’ve seen both the black and red versions of the sandals on both Katrina and Alia, remember that they don’t share the same stylist. 😛
On another aside, this tee reminds me a lot of the Sincerely Jules lips and lashes tee.
