As comments have proven each time, some of you are bound to love this look, and others hate it just as fervently. Me? Am on the fence. Personally, the Abu Sandeep look (Dress? Kurta?) is not my cup of tea, not at all. That said, Aishwarya doesn’t look as overwhelmed in it as I expected her to. Not that it means much.

How I wish she had offset all that’s going on with her outfit by opting for less statement-y earrings, softer lips and hair worn away from her face. If she had to have some hair framing her face, she could’ve always done a wispy, romantic updo or a wide, loose side-braid… Something, anything over the voluminous mass of red-brown on her shoulders.

There were multiple sightings of Abu-Sandeep at this do. Also sporting the designer duo were Pinky, Neetu and to no one’s surprise, Jaya.

Can’t quite say am fond of either of these outfits. I will however say this, despite their outfits the ladies looked charming. The color on Ms. Bachchan was especially a surprise; it (the color) looked great on her.

It was Abu-Sandeep for these ladies at the Birthday celebrations. Tabu rarely ever gets it wrong (lately) when in Indian-wear and though there was nothing really wrong with this look, it read a little dowdy on her, almost washing her out. Rinke wore hers well but the make-up was really off. Sussanne too wore hers well but in her case, the necklace didn’t seem to quite work with the suit.

Of the three, I’d give this one to Rinke. Along with some blotting papers and tissues.

Also in attendance at the recent do were these ladies… And of this set, it was Anupama that was a favorite of ours.

The peach-pink suit wasn’t doing much for Farah. On the other hand though, Madhuri looked lovely in her tricky shade of pink. It was quite the refreshing change to see Juhi in a simpler suit than what she usually opts for. Also a welcome change was seeing Adhuna in Indian-wear.
