At an event held by Sotheby’s to celebrate Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s India Fantastique, Shweta wore an intricately embellished dress by the designer duo. Tousled hair, red lips and black pumps finished out her look.

You may recall her wearing a heavily embellished gold Abu Sandeep for her father’s birthday celebrations where she looked pretty darn good. This time around however, she wasn’t quite able to recreate the same effect. The dress just didn’t work on her. Hair and make-up only added to her woes.

With Grammys around the corner, I can’t help but think how perfect this dress would be for stage.

It was a surprise,a good one at that, to see Tabu on the red carpet of the Golden Globes award. The actress, not surprising anyone, opted for a red Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari featuring an ornate gold blouse.

Wearing a beige Abu-Sandeep floor-length anarkali, Anushka attended Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’s latest taping. Red lips, earrings by Curio Cottage and bracelet and ring by Isharya finished out her look.

While I love the look waist up, the outfit felt a tad overwhelming.
