Dascha, who stars in Orange Is The New Black, attended the GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday night in NYC wearing a black velvet mini with an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla long jacket.

Letting the ornate jacket be the highlight of the look, she finished out the look with a sleek ponytail, a textured box clutch and nude sandals. You’ll remember Aishwarya wearing the long jacket as a gown here.

What I like about Dascha’s look is that in wearing the jacket with a dress, she makes the former a statement piece of an overall outfit than the outfit itself. That made the jacket feel less overwhelming.

If we had to tweak anything about this look, it would be the clutch. Don’t like it one bit.

The Bachchans hosted Kunal and Nainia’s wedding reception in Delhi where Aishwarya was spotted wearing a red Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla floor-length lehenga. The actor also sported the duo at the Padma Vibhushan ceremony earlier last week wearing a peach floral suit.

Tiya, who stars in Miss India America, attended the movie’s premiere at the Indian Film Festival Of Los Angeles wearing an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla mirrored gown.

Wearing the full-skirted gown with a middle parted hairdo, she finished out the look with red lips and simple jewellery. I do wish the neckline was just a smidge higher.

While in Delhi for Women’s Day, Juhi did pink at two events but in two different outfits. At the inauguration of a women’s hospital, she was seen in a pink Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla suit and silver kolhapuri wedges. Later on, she slipped into a pink Namrata Joshipura top wearing it with khaki style pants and a pair of cork wedges.

Of the two looks, it was easy to pick the desi look as the better one. Not that I was a fan of the pants but the bigger issue I had with the Joshipura look was the footwear.

Floral Fix

Wearing an embroidered floral suit, Sonali attended recent wedding festivities. A McQueen clutch and Ferragamo pumps completed her look. The suit is a tricky color and while it isn’t one we’d gravitate to, Sonali did fairly okay in it. The choice to pair it however with those grosgrain ribbon accented pumps stumped us.
