During the course of taping for her television show recently, Sonakshi gave us two rather different looks. For one episode, she picked an Abu Sandeep suit that she wore with plaited hair, Metaphor chaand-balis (earrings) and taupe peep-toe pumps. And for the other, she paired a Manika Nanda printed top with taupe-brown pants and same neutral pumps. A top knot finished out her look this time around.

While the peplum top looked good on Ms. Sinha, those pants were a complete downer. Of the two looks, it was easy to peg her appearance in the suit as the favorite; she looked lovely in it.

Celina served as Grand Marshall at this year’s Pride Parade in Toronto and made appearance not only at the parade but at several other events surrounding it. Her first look was a rather chic one in a Kukoon sheath dress, one that she wore with blue pumps. The Bend It Like Bombay event saw her go desi in an ornate Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla anarkali.

For the parade she picked a Neha Agrawal dress and out of the three, this was my least favorite because of the tight fit at the bust.

Giving us a bit of drama on the red carpet was Shruti in her Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sequin skirt and bustier style sheer top. Keeping the hair sleek in an updo was a great way of balancing out the look.

I’ve looked at many pics and in just about all of them it was evident that the cups of the top was a few sizes too small and that was a bit distracting.

We always get excited seeing Indian designers at non-Indian events and Ms. Underwood surprised us by wearing one at the CMT Awards last night. For her performance, she picked a Jani & Khosla mirrored gown.

You’ll remember Tiya wearing the same one to the LA Film Festival just a few months ago.

At the trailer unveiling of Bahubali in Chennai, Tamannaah was seen in a pink Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari featuring an ornate white blouse. Having never been fan of this shade of pink, can’t say I was in love with the look, but she looked pretty.
