This year’s Marrakech International Film Festival has Richa Chadha on the jury and that is quite a source of pride. At the opening ceremony, the actor was seen in a beaded Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla gown, one that she wore with an updo and diamond jewellery.

As much as I love the workmanship of the gown, I just don’t like the bust. Between the choker neck and the big cutout, the top half felt very constricting.

The good news is, we have plenty more days into the festival so we’ll be seeing plenty more looks from Ms. Chadha.

Going for a look perhaps most associated with Carolina Herrera, Aditi paired her Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla ruffle skirt with a Zara shirt while at a recent event. Letting the voluminous skirt have its moment, the actor kept all else simple and finished out the look with a top knot and pink lip color.

While I wish she had picked a classic collared button-down instead, have to hand credit where credit is due… Pulling off that skirt is no mean feat and Aditi does just that! And though Ms. Hydari fared a whole lot better than most others would attempting this look, it wasn’t quite a ten. Instead of downplaying the skirt by going the classic route, a more dramatic approach would’ve served her better.

While at the YPO Conference in Goa, Madhuri was seen in two desi looks. At the dinner event she went formal in a blue Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla sari, wearing it with a pink piped mesh blouse. The day event saw her in a grey Vineet and Rahul long kurta featuring a hot pink dupatta that was paired with a statement temple necklace.

Kangana attended Masaba’s reception wearing an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari. Accessories of choice included a silver minaudière and strappy Louboutins. And the wavy do and strong red lip rounded off the retro-inspired look perfectly. Ms. Ranaut looked good!

At the Filmfare Awards Marathi, Tabu looked lovely in her black Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla look. Am not a fan of the sari and that rhinestone border but given its color and the fact that the blouse draws more attention to it, this look worked. Heck, we’ll take this sari over this other one any day.
P.S. She is wearing Farah Khan Fine Jewellery earrings and Maheep Kapoor ring.
