Points where points are due- Katrina picked a sari (by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla) to wear to the reception. Why one in thaaat color, now that we don’t know. Also that cape over her shoulders instead of looking effortlessly cool, came off looking super awkward. Should’ve just skipped it or opted for a belted jacket instead.

The Ambani-Piramal reception took place on Friday evening in Mumbai where the newly weds were finally spotted together. Surprising, the bride who wore Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for her wedding and Manish Malhotra to her sangeet, opted for a custom lehenga by Valentino. Can’t say we are surprised.
The question is, will more international labels start catering towards the Indian market. We know Needle & Thread making a sari last year that was available on Net-A-Porter. Guess, time will tell!

It was an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga for Janhvi while at the big fat Indian wedding in Mumbai. It’s not a lehenga we’d gravitate to but it was one that worked for this young actor. That said though, this one dimensional Bollywood-ized idea of glam is hard to get excited about after a point, so excuse us while we go meh!
