For the photocall of Jazbaa, Aishwarya picked a strapless Oscar De La Renta and here again, more than the gown, the rich color was what worked in her favor. The maroon gown and the matching lip just enhanced her beauty a thousand fold. She looked smashing!

If there was one thing we’d change or wish was different, it would be that exposed mesh back on the bustier.

Richa, whose film Masaan is being shown at Cannes in the Un Certain Regard category, attended the photocall today wearing a strapless Giles dress from the Fall 2015 collection. After Cate Blanchett, who wowed in a gown a few days earlier from the same collection, Richa is the second to wear a dress from the collection at the festival. The choice of designer was quite unexpected but we have no complaints. After seeing quite a few Saabs, this made for a very good change!

Showcasing the abstract print dress even more was the updo, simple necklace and nude pumps. She looked fabulous.

In Elie Saab Couture

Sonam walked the red carpet again today at Cannes, this time picking a yellow Elie Saab Couture gown with Chopard ruby drop earrings and a pink lip providing for a contrast.

The gown may have been a Saab (and we love him!), but at first glance itself, I felt no love for it. The feathers at the bust felt rather excessive and between it and the hemline, the gown looked more like a rug.

Rarely does Ms. Kapoor look overwhelmed in an outfit but here, she definitely did.

While some of the ladies have been giving us gowns in bold colors, Nandita has been keeping it simple in saris. For the opening night, she did an all-gold look in an Anavila sari. The Kering Dinner on Sunday evening saw her in a black and pink one with silver jewellery finishing out her look.

As much as I love the sari, between the jewellery and the potli, the opening night look felt a bit one-toned. Am more drawn to the black look even though I would’ve preferred a longer silver necklace.

For her first red carpet appearance, Aishwarya went with Elie Saab, a designer she favors quite a bit when at Cannes. The sparkly teal gown with its revealing sheer skirt may not be one of my favorites Saabs but there was no denying she looked amazing!

The bold lip against the teal made quite a statement. She owned every bit of the look and the red carpet!
