New bride Reema picked a strapless gown for the Gangs of Wasseypur photocall. Am quite disappointed by the look because we see this every now and then and I expected a bit more considering it is Cannes. Also, the cinched waist doesn’t sit right on her.

P.S. I’ve feel like we’ve seen this gown before. BCBG?

For a meeting with Frida Giannini, the creative director of Gucci, Sonam wore a Gucci suit from the Fall 2012 collection. Instead of the maroon shirt, she opted for a white one witha gold choker completing her look.

She will be making an appearance at the Gucci dinner today.

Mallika is also in Cannes and for an event at the India Pavilion she picked a stone colored Victoria Beckham dress. If we hadn’t seen her do the same messy hairdo time and again, we might have liked it. Girlfriend needs a change. A severe pony would be nice to see on her.

Day two wasn’t the first sighting of Freida in a Paco Rabanne dress(see here).

While hanging out with fellow L’Oréal ambassadresses Eva (Longoria) and Jane (Fonda), she was spotted wearing a blue dress from the Spring collection, the 2nd ( and unfortunately the last collection) designed by our very own Manish Arora.

Day And Night

Day two of the Cannes Festival saw Freida first walk down the red carpet in a lime green Atelier Versace gown with a thigh-high split. Later at night for L’Oreal’s bash, it was a white Paco Rabanne ( by Manish Arora) dress featuring a chain-link underlay . The gown and dress were fantastic picks and she looked gorgeous in both, but anyone else feel that the satin pumps with the gown wasn’t the best pick?
