It was a Zara Umrigar gown for Taapsee while at a recent awards event. Wearing her hair down, she rounded out the look with a strong red lip. She wears the gown well! While on the gown though, wish it didn’t have the criss-crossing detail on the neckline. It really brings down the look a notch… The dress would’ve looked so much better with just a classic plunging neckline.

Ah!! The body make up is really overdone.
That cross cross thing doesn’t look good.
This look is well, almost!
Everything looks so oily face, neck, torso…. Someone is going to jump down my throat and say “its the law of nature” or something 😛
But she looks very greasy.
Even her hair looks like she is ready for an oil bath
Yes the criss cross is bringing the look down, plunging neckline would have been better but its not a deal breaker. I think she looks fab. Love the red lips.

Neck to cleavage area is more made up than her face.
For the folks who complained on the Zendaya post that many Indians don’t like plunging necklines on Indian women..I say no, Taapsee may not look great here but her neckline is not to blame and in fact is aesthetically pleasing (minus the criss cross)!
The dress is ugly but I hardly noticed it because of all that make up. She has plied on too much make up starting from her face to her body. The collar bone contouring is particularly jarring.

Agree. The cross cross details killed the impact the dress could have made. I’m also not sure the red lipstick is the correct shade. Maybe it’s the entire makeup or maybe it’s not the best lighting but this isn’t a hit for me.
She’s looking like the mother from the ADDAMS FAMILY cartoon series from the 90’s.
