It was a Cilvr dress for Taapsee while at recent Music Awards. Braided hair, diamond jewelry by Anmol and pair of embellished sandals rounded out the actor’s look. Music/Fashion Awards are usually a good time to go all out and try different things… Like this change of pace from Taapsee?

I cannot put my finger on it, but this entire look is so disconnected. Especially face up vs down – that makeup and hair is too prim and proper for the outfit. Truly also not a fan of the dress either. So basically, nothing is working for me here.
Why the triple layers of make up, the plaits, the raincoat dress, salsa heels..I mean I don’t think the stylist or anyone in the room had a clear idea of what to do.
It’s sarsoon ki kheti meets rock chick babe meets a salsa dancer…. Totally disconnected but it’s also such an unexpected look from Tapsee that I’m liking it… Especially the makeup
so a long chotti/ braid is sarsoon ki kehti? People in England pay to get braids done
I think it’s the way she’s swinging the braid.. looks more like it needs a paranda .. plus she’s punjabi so guess it’s kinda coming natural to her.. not getting any “techno gig waiting for the sun up set type braids” vibe here.. sorry ppl of england!

Unpopular opinion….I totally love it! The braid is an unexpected twist, but a ponytail would’ve worked just as well.
It’s not even the dress, it’s the make that spoilt the entire look..too caked up and somehow made her eyes look odd..
This looks all sorts of awful and the funny part is you know we know and we know that you know and yet you won’t call it out lol

thats a tonne of make up! rock chic works better with wavy hair. the braids make it caricature-ish
Make up and hair aside, diamonds with this dress? Scratching my head on what exact look she and the stylist were going for! Sleek ponytail, minimal makeup with a graphic eyeliner, an edgy cuff and glam strappy sandals would have saved the look, me thinks.
