  2. Would love to brighten up my diwali with these gifts. It would add to all the sparkle we are planning to add to our home. We are going green this year, with only lamps and lights all over the house to brighten up the place and no crackers 🙂

  10. This festive season my sparkle of joy comes from gifting my loved ones and seeing their happy glowing faces. Since HHC is all about being “guilt-free” now, my real sparkle will come from the jewellery I am eyeing and hinting my husband about 😉 and of course winning this giveaway will be the cherry on top.
Have “Liked” Swarovski on facebook :). Fingers crossed.

“Bringing a sparkling smile to the faces of people is the best way to add some sparkle this diwali! since i will be getting my first salary, i will be bringing gifts for my family. i will also be distributing gifts to an old age home near my home in Bhopal. It is a different feeling altogether seeing their faces light up and knowing you are some way the cause of it”

Since sis is getting hitched a month from now, super-busy with the preparations and will be travelling soon but not before some serious pigging out, bursting eco-friendly patakhas and crafting a mean Rangoli pattern at the entrance of our home (in that order). Also, currently fund-raising for organising a Diwali party for children with special needs…no one but no one parties like ’em kids so that’s going to be a ball! : )
HAPPY DIWALI, PAYAL & PRIYANKA & ALL YOU BLOG READERS & CONTRIBUTORS!

Simple- laterns and little diyas all around the house, bright orange and gold churidar to match the red and brown interior furnishings, food and champagne, some near and dear ones, and the feeling of love all around… To add this sparkle, and make it extra- smiles and the sound of laughter. 31. Since my Granddad passed away a few days back and I won’t be celebrating like the way I used to celebrate every year by decorating the house and stuff. This year I thought of celebrating in a different way. My family will be going to the old age home near our place and we’ll be celebrating Diwali with them. This might actually bring some sparkle to their lives. Nothing like bringing smile on others face and shine in their eyes 🙂

  32. This diwali we re adding shine to our celebration with celebrating it with underprivileged. We resolved to share some sweets and clothes with them along with that helping them to stock up the regular provisions like food grains and ghee and oil for few months. This sure made us believe in the fact that joy doubles when you share it with someone 🙂

  34. Diwali is a festival best celebrated with family & friends I know of a several of my friends who are away from their families & can’t go back for diwali so I have invited them all to my place and organised the puja and the celebration so that they do not miss home and get a feel of a home away from home diwali celebration. The best part is that they are from different parts of the country so our diwali celebration is going to be a melting pot of cultures and rituals from across the country and a diwali in the truely indian sense.

For us , it will be a big shine and sparkle moment to remember fondly the fun times we had with their dad while gifting the children of cankids-kidscan ( NGO for children suffering with cancer).

Thanks for the question! I love love love Diwali It’s my most favourite festival. Usually just before Diwali I purchase a lot of goodies to decorate. To add that extrea shine & sparkle, I get those small twinkly lights for the hall & bedrooms, I light up vanilla/orange flavoured diyas & candles in the balcony, near the windows & outside my house so that they smell good too, I usually get rangoli stencils & make a beautiful diya shaped rangoli outside my home & its also fun to beautify the mandir with garlands, diyas & jyots. For my dining & center table, I keep a bowl of water & put some floating candles. To complete this exciting festive look I keep my house thoroughly spic and span & de-cluttered! 🙂

It is our family’s ambition to help the needy and the poor so that they can also enjoy all the festivals and they can also feel that they are also equal like us.We want to create equality among all and we want to spread brotherhood among the people so that a better future of India can be drawn and if we get success in this and see a smile on the faces of orphans and handicapped people, this would be a real SPARKLE to me shining more than a Star.
