Sushmita was a picture of health at an event today and was seen wearing her favorite color (no points for guessing), black. It was great to see her. Having said that, the bandage dress paired with those sandals just made the look feel very dated. She worked the dress though.

i get that she survived a health scare AND that she’s a favorite around here but there’s no way this outing can get a pass. nothing’s working, from the top of her head to her toes. it’s a throwback to the worst of the 80s — not even the noughties. that dress should be burned.
Why so easy on Sush ? This is dated, unflattering and so meh. Her cheeks look wierd since Aarya debut.
I love this woman – for her persona, poise and character.
But fashion is definintely not her forte.
She gets it right once in a while in a power suit or cocktail dress.
But most often, like this one, it is a huuuge miss.
Like her contemporaries – Madhuri, Shilpa, Raveena – she has a penchant for picking dated designs.
