As much of a trend thigh-high boots are (were?), wearing them over denims is a bad idea. Terrible actually. Minus the mis-sized boots, do like how the orange Hermès belt lends some color to the outfit. Also relying on orange Hermès to add that ‘pop’ was Surily with her Jige (clutch). Love it.

  1. hey guys, i absolutely love your site and visit it daily. although this lady is not wearing the thigh high boots the right way, i will have to disagree with you at the fact that thigh high boots were a trend in the past, they are actually HUGE in NY right now and they CAN be worn with jeans, but just not the way this lady did.

    • Agree with Sombol. Boots, in general – ankle, knee high, thigh high- over skinny jeans are a staple in California too, except you wouldn’t wear it with such light colored jeans. We go for dark wash or, if we are skinny enough, skinny grey jeans. I think Shabnam would have fared much better if she had chosen dark wash since she is quite heavy in the hip/thigh area. By the way, isn’t Mumbai weather too warm for boots?

  2. Make-up makes a world of difference to Surily’s appearance. I think this is the first time I’ve seen her come anywhere near working her outfit and accessories.

  3. a very gud example of right attitude and confidence to carry clothes. surily’s dress is better but the way Shabnam is carrying herself and the attitude makes her a winner , i see no harm in this dress maybe thigh high shoes were as per the occasion..Surily though is wearing a better dress but lack the posture and confidence.. in fact she lacks this in every dress is wears..
