Underwhelmed

Once again, Asin disappoints. Her look is just a bit too peach’ish for our liking! A pity, coz she is a stunner!

At this rate, we’d just have to say… Bring back the velvet!!

  1. why why why? she is so pretty and she looked so good in ghajini, esp in that bacchu song. and she looked fab at some appearance she made for a south indian film premier where she was wearing a resplendent anarkali some months ago. what a pitiful waste. p and p: can you put up the anarkali picture up here as well, please?

  2. Like it! Not the accessories – but am sure most of who look great on photos must be painful to digest up-close but she would have been breathtaking – so elegant!

  3. i actually like the dress..i think she could’ve fared better with the accessories by wearing more muted colors and also with the make up..it’s too matchy matchy..u don’t have to wear peach lipstick just because you are wearing a peach dress!

  4. Peach is a hard color to carry off….sadly this reminds me of my prom dress which was the exact same color…ugh..the late 90’s ! At least I didn’t match my lip to the dress.

  5. the problem with peach color dresses is that they can look prom-ish all too easily. And the biggest mistake I see here is matching her lipstick to her dress. It washes her out.

  6. I love the dress! Peach and gold (th egold on the dress, not the gold in the clutch) are lovely together
the problem here is her hair and makeup- should have been softer to match the dress

  7. I like the dress.. I think a darker color in the same dress would’ve looked great on Asin. The peach color of the dream is too close to the color of her skin, so it looks bland.

  9. I do not find her very pretty.. not “actress” pretty.. I’d say she was pretty if she was walking down the street but to be on the big screen it’s just like meh.

  10. Agree with Sharin, I dont see what’s so great bout Asin. Trust me, she lookes plain hideous in some South Indian films, then suddenly turned out pretty in ghajini( the hindi one)…I guess it’s all in the make-up.
